Roulette Table – Play at a roulette table.

The roulette table consists of a wheel with numbers in black and red. You have to bet on a particular number or numbers on the roulette table. There are many types of bets that you can place on the roulette table. The person who spins the spinning wheel is known as the croupier. The croupier will spin the wheel in one direction and then throw the white ball in roulette wheel. The ball will keep on moving till the roulette wheel stops and then it will rest on one number. The American roulette table has 38 colored and numbered pockets while the European roulette table has 37 of them.

In the roulette table the main pockets are numbered from 1 to 36 and successive pockets are red and black respectively. However the pockets are not numbered consecutively and there maybe instances of two simultaneous numbers having the same color. There is the 37th pocket having green color and it is numbered zero. In the American style roulette table there is also a second green pocket numbered 00. The roulette table was first invented in France and from there it spread to other European countries.

The roulette table is very much in demand in many casinos across the world. America has some of the largest casinos cum resorts in the world and the demand for roulette tables has been growing. There is a lot of competition between the different roulette table companies and hence these companies are willing to sell cheap roulette tables also.

There are generally eight players playing at a time at the table. Each player has different colored chips with him so that everyone knows which chips are of a particular player. In case any player wins at the end of the game, he can get his chips exchanged for cash chips. The chips on the roulette table are of different denominations. Hence to play at the roulette table you have to place your bets on the numbers on the wheel. No one can place any bets when the croupier says ‘no more bets’ just before he starts to spin the wheel and drops the ball. No one is allowed to place or change their bets from that moment.
